SPOILERS FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T WATCHED PUELLA MAGI MADOKA MAGICA
I just has a thought:
Since the magical girls in Puella Magi Madoka Magica are basically corpses being reanimated by their disembodied souls stuffed into a piece of jewellery, and Witches are considered "mature" magical girls, what would happen if the Witch's Grief Seed was placed by or given to "her body", so to speak?
Like, Grief Seeds are basically soul gems, albeit completely corrupted, so would they revive the girl with the Witch's mind?
Their bodies are usually destroyed when the Witch forms, but Sayaka's was taken out of the labyrinth by Kyoko. With that in mind, would giving Sayaka's body Oktavia's Grief Seed revive her, in a way? Since Oktavia is pretty much the physical manifestation of Sayaka's soul at its most corrupted and painful, I suppose it's possible in theory?
Do you get what I mean?

Kyoko: Don'cha mean 'violence'?

A moodboard for pmmm witches?
This was really hard but I think it turned out pretty cool! Had a hard time choosing witches and couldn’t work in Walpurgisnacht, so I tried to just work in the most memorable ones (for me.)

Madoka magica makes me so sad because those! Are! Children! I just wanna pick them all up and keep them far away from kyuubei and all his horrible shit so that they could actually grow up and be truly happy (even homura bc fuck canon my kid now)
Just like Neon Genesis Evangelion, its story served no purpose other than tell us that relying on a Child Soldier system is wrong and bad, and to creep everyone out with the constant use of Christian symbology (despite the fact that Japan's predominant religions are Shinto and Buddhism).
Madoka Magica's story relies heavily on the expression "you reap what you sow", meaning that the choices you make have repercussions and it will come back to you in one way or another...
...except that 4/5 of the girls' wishes were made with the goal of helping out someone (Mami's wish was one of self-preservation/survival; but she absolutely did not deserved to die, either!).
And I'll NEVER EVER forgive what the narrative has done to Miki Sayaka. Like, she was nothing but a guinea pig, a tool to show the audience the process of how the antagonic Witches come to existence.
Of course, there is no hierarchy to pain and suffering, but what happens to Sayaka story-wise is just plain rotten.
She wished for Kyousuke to have his hand healed, so he could happily play the violin again. Of course, she also wanted to be loved by him, but isn't, like... normal and natural for teenagers to have crushes...?
And her intentions as a puella magi were pure and noble, like a knight's; she was inspired by Mami, and was willing to take her place.
Of course, you may argue that the revelation of secret of the Soul Gems has made Sayaka disenchanted by the world and question her humanity, but let's not forget that her the nature of her Witch, Oktavia von Seckendorf, is of someone in love (even her description in The Rebellion Story says that she "has once dreamt of love").
And even after Madoka's wish, she still died. Madoka (now referred as the Law of Cycles) took her away from the mortal realm before Oktavia would emerge.
The original series' director, Akiyuki Shinbo, was very fond of Sayaka, and asked Gen Urobuchi if there was any way that she would be brought back to life, to which the writer replies with a "no".
Soooo, yeah... Miki Sayaka, who had good intentions and just wanted to be loved, was unnecessarily and severely punished by the narrative. Because wanting to be a hero and having a crush are unforgivable crimes on the same level as terrorism (let's not forget that Gen Urobuchi compared magical girls to fucking Al-Qaeda in one of his interviews, folks).
And of course, that's not even mentioning the fact that most of the fandom is biphobic (or panphobic, depending on which headcanon you agree with); like, they're quick to ship Sayaka with Kyouko and call her a lesbian, but are quick to forget that she had a crush on a BOY, and wished for him to be happy.
And lastly but not least important, in The Rebellion Story, she was the only girl who saw through Homura's scheme in the ending, and had her memories altered so she couldn't do anything about it, and if she did something, "Madoka would hate her". And assuming from the Concept movie trailer, Homura keeps her hostage (or supposedly the representation of her original memories), so her twisted utopia can remain intact.
#JusticeForSayaka.
In other words, the "you reap what you sow" logic in MadoMagi is extremely fucked up, considering the early events.

Oktavia screams. “Just leave me alone! Stop ruining the concert! It’s safe here! I want to stay here! I don’t deserve to be seen! I don’t want their help!” Another wail.
“No! Wait! I don’t want to be alone! Stay and listen! STAY AND LISTEN!”

What about Aino Minako/Sailor V/Venus? She was cursed to never find love, had several unsuccessful crushes and has witnessed plenty of horrifying stuff as a Sailor Senshi... and she was 14-15yo, too. And didn’t despaired.
Keep that in mind that Sailor Moon’s original script involved everyone dying in the end but the editors forbade Naoko from doing so.
And also, isn’t that weird that the Incubators’ targets are only girls, because they are the ones with a strong amount of energy, that said energy being their emotions, playing into the Hysterical Woman trope?
And if Sayaka didn’t descended into a spiral of despair because she couldn’t earn the affections of the boy she liked, then why the nature of her Witch, Oktavia von Seckendorf, is described as falling in love, and why the entrance of her Barrier reads Love Me Do, and why the runes in the movie read Summis desiderantes affectibus (Latin: Desire with supreme ardor)? Sure you can say that having her humanity stripped away and being used as a puppet were factors that pushed her even further into insanity, but love is shown to be a reocurring theme with Oktavia (the description of her nature in The Rebellion Story is “has once dreamt of love”).
If anything else, Sayaka was only a guinea pig, used to visually explain how a Witch comes to existence, and the fact that the series’ original writer has straight up said that “he feels the urge of destroying anyone who considers themselves a symbol of justice” is awfully telling.
Sayaka didn't go "insane" because she didn't get the boy she liked. She was crushed under the weight of the realization that her soul was literally outside her body, bringing up the conversation of "what really makes us human" and her feeling of being inadequate compared to Hitomi, which is a lot for a 13 year old. I would've probably despaired too
